Snugpak sleeping bag

My Chrysalis Micro arrived today. I like it. I tried it on and it's snug but roomy enough and with the baffle used to widen the bag, it is luxuriously big.

What's really nice though is the material used. It's silky smooth, very soft of the skin, and the chisel foot is nice and big, for my big feet. I'm looking forward to trying it out!

Alpkit Spikes

Cripes, these things are 23cm long! Massive, but will give amazing pegging strength to my tent, I hope. Much better than the titanium ones, perhaps, in hard ground, certainly.

Visited my local garden centre on Monday. I was amazed at the size, given the surburban location. And it was a proper centre with everything, including fishes.
